Could you explain how? Just seems like they excessively post anti-American and anti-Imperialist stuff.

The screenshot is 8 years old, and nothing in that screenshot actually points to solutions for the problems he brings up. If you read through his comment history, he po-poohs taking actions like trying to engage with elected officials to let them know what issues are important to you as the constituent. He’s referencing Thomas Jefferson owning slaves as an strawman to say that all US leaders are callous to human suffering, and bigoted. Laws in the US were different in the 1700’s than they are today. Was slavery an atrocity? Absolutely, but it was legal in the 1700’s. What he doesn’t talk about is how the declaration of Independence and way the framers set up the constitution allowed the laws to change to stop that atrocity from continuing. Americans everywhere are fighting the good fight. We fight against the war in Gaza. We fight against war and our tax dollars being used to make war. Kent state shooting anyone? Not every American is a lazy piece of shit that doesn’t care about the political process or how our elected officials fuck up so much of America and the rest of the world. Progress is slow, and it’s a fight all the way. But there have also been plenty of presidents and lawmakers that understood human suffering at the hands of the government and capitalists, and did what they could to rectify it. (New Deal anyone.) When I read his comments, I get the feeling that he’s trying to encourage violent actions as subtext, without openly calling for violent actions. Troll bro does not appear to be American, but I could be wrong. 草泥馬 from his username are Chinese characters that literally mean grass mud horse. This is a meme/Mandarin homophonic pun (肏你妈) meaning, “Fuck your mother.” Everything about him gives off the vibe that he just wants to incite people to argue on the internet without participating in meaningful and thoughtful discussion.

Okay, lots to unpack there and I’m not paid to do that so keep in mind that this is quick.

It satisfied my question though, you think they’re a troll because you don’t like what they’re saying and they sure talk a lot. I’m sorry if you’re still processing this, but the United States is a brutal imperialistic power that has caused an immeasurable amount of damage to the world, not just people, the entire living world. Its entire system depends on extractive genocide to exist, and there is no reform for that. US citizens may choose to support or subscribe to that system, as many fascists and liberals do, or they may choose to challenge it, as many liberationists, climate activists, socialists, and anarchists do. Their leaders have most certainly chosen to continue it.

People fought slavery in the Americas since it started and they had to fight for hundreds of years through the deaths of untold millions to do it. It was not, “just part of the law,” the law was built to facilitate that violence. Thomas Jefferson – many “founding fathers” actually – only had the resources to carry out a revolution because of slavery.

I don’t think any serious socialist or anti-imperialist sees American culture as monolithic. Most of my knowledge on mutual aid comes from Black Liberationists in living memory. Instances like the Coal and Rent Wars are powerful examples of how that brutal system is also vulnerable to the popular forces of exploited people, which means there is a lot of them. But, you can’t support the state and ally yourself with those groups.
