Unironically the best POTUS of the last half century, saved millions from death and suffering by expanding Medicaid and funding deradicalization programs.

God that’s bleak. Our best, and he’s still nearly indistinguishable from giving George W. Bush a third and fourth term.

George W. Bush and his administration played musical chairs with the CIA leadership until they got one willing to fabricate evidence of WMDs in Iraq and then invade to the sole benefit of Exxon Mobil, the Obama admin was a million fucking times better than that.

Yeah, yeah, he only doubled down on detaining and torturing without trial, dragged the Afghanistan war/occupation on for another decade, and posthumously reclassified civilian drone-strike deaths as “combatants”.

A million times a negative is still a negative.

You seem to have read what I typed and believe it and yet somehow still believe Obama didn’t take us in a positive direction away from that barbarism. You’re insane.

Did he? Cus it kinda seems like he kept all the “barbaric” tools on the table, used quite a few of them himself, and now we’re left with Trump handling all of them. You consider that a positive direction?
