    Rossman is a piece of shit and always has been, as far as I can tell. Reading the linked article, I don’t see how he could be unaware of the issues with FUTO. It’s unfortunate, but I think that in the long run him being a “great man” of the movement will only hurt the right to repair.

      Can you elaborate on Rossman being a piece of shit? I occasionally see some of his stuff and get the impression he’s a typical small business centrist libertarian freak, albeit a bit more personally endearing than average.

        The right or repair stuff is cool but in the end of the day he is a small business tyrant.

        And it’s not like FUTO thing has gotten worse over time that all was there from the beginning and if anything it has gotten a bit more serious and has actually something to show for.

        Basically this. The fact that he’s so prominent in “right to repair” risks, in my opinion, discrediting the whole movement, especially when he inevitably goes and makes friends with fascists. Never trust an anticommunist.
