How arrogant and naive to think that your view of things is the objective truth… If it is, people who see things different are what, blind? Or mentally incapable to understand anything? Or, maybe, they’re absolute irrational evil causing destruction without any explicable reason? Rejecting and dehumanizing the other side of a conflict means just further broadening it. You aren’t going to solve wars by taking part in them.
I DO NOT support Israel, but using value judgments of either side doesn’t help understand the actual reasons behind the conflict which are always much deeper than “we good they bad”.
I mean, genocide is pretty objectively bad.
All ethical systems rely on example applications. Israel’s morality can not be measured by any moral system. Rather, it’s actions are so abhorrent, that any moral systems merit will in the future be measured by whether it judges Israel’s actions as bad.
Value judgements? Genocide is an objective thing. It’s clearly defined, with zero “good vs evil” involved in its definition.
