While lemon juice is acidic, citric acid in lemon juice is metabolized in the body and alkalizes urine. It does not alkalize the blood.

I consider myself not a science guy, my skillset is in the humanities for sure. But this is like elementary school stuff. Junior high possibly. Angela is fantastic for getting into this but for real do not overestimate people’s scientific ignorance. I have worked kitchens forever and cannot recall how many people didnt know not to mix bleach and ammonia and what products are bleach and what products contain ammonia and how to check: by looking at the label and also just dont mix cleaning chemicals ever. People with engineering degrees just go full Charlie Kelly mode when they need to fill a mop bucket.
