Says you, the mod that regularly removes posts for the remotest suggestive violence against a man who is so deprived of any human decency he is the most violent indirect machine gun of our modern era, killing and displacing hundreds if not thousands daily with taxpayer money. And guys like you with your hands waving up and down “calm calm now people, there may be a moment and time for a violent overthrow of this guy, but that moment isn’t now and that place isn’t here”

Pardon my French, but in my book you’re on the same level as the Lemmy devs.

We can have a discussion about that. Here is my reasoning, since if you look at any of my posts, I really don’t like the man.

      • I won’t let anyone call for violence for anyone
      • Calling for violence is a fools errand. Violence against him will get you killed at best, but might get other people killed as well.
      • If you think it can be done, don’t encourage it, but do it yourself.
      • LA only was violent against a few waymos and a couple of cop cars. That saved their asses from a military take over and many, many people being killed.

You can disagree with the above. If you notice, I don’t ban people unless they get super trolling about the removal of the comment.

Good god, it’s worse than I thought.

There’s not really any discussion necessary. The more depraved he gets, the more you’ll look like an enabler. Certainly with those straw man arguments.

A mod has to keep the community they mod safe, and to an extent keep the top level posts and comments on topic. Nobody elected you and you are actively censoring. Like RT, Fox, and Chinese state television.

        • If you think it can be done, don’t encourage it, but do it yourself.

TIL the censoring mod on Lemmy is against assembly or group revolution, but doesn’t mind snipers taking a shot. K.

What? I’m saying it’s super easy to encourage violence for others to do, but sit safe in your home while you watch the world burn. I think you might have lost the plot.

Mate, not everyone is in the US. Due to a hiccup in globalisation, elections over there have no integrity and a child pedophile has been tearing down stuff which affects the whole fucking world.

If I was there, I wouldn’t hesitate a second to rise a mob against him, but I’m not, and I obviously will never be. Some of us can only support possible violence from a distance.

Anyway, you’re already at the name calling stage, so I’m not going to change your mind, just know each time you’re “not banning” someone, you’re still reducing the online appearance of dissent and therefore making it look like people are okay with his bullcrap. You are painting and coercing a picture, and that picture is regime friendly.

Why aren’t you flying here and doing something about it? I mean it, it effects you. Last comment.

Historically you have had an extremely loose definition of a “call for violence”.

I understand where they are coming from.
