I don’t really like Windows but it’s for my gaming PC. My laptop does run linux. I don’t know much of anything about 11 and whether it’s better or not.

    Honestly, there’s not much of a difference. Microsoft will eventually force everyone up upgrade, so you might as well, if you have the time.

      Yeah. I was pretty against W11 for a while but had issues with a PC build due to corrupted OS files and said “fuck it” and let W11 install as I figured that would just install the non-corrupted files (it did).

      As far as a rig for purely gaming goes: it is fine. It has a few quirks that irate me, but nothing that isn’t present in W10 anyway.

      If you were a power user working on Windows all day there’s a lot more to criticize. But for a gaming rig? It’s perfectly adequate.

      For context. My home gaming PC is W11. I do my professional work in W10 (+7 & XP VMs) and my personal laptop is running Fedora. So I do run a varied set of OS’s and still say W11 does a good job for gaming
