It was a new, tingling sensation that left me wanting more… and sure enough it didn’t stop there. At just 15, I got radicalized by a delicious falafel with red cabbage. It could have been a one-off, but noooooo, I had set foot on the slippery slope : dolmas, tapenade, merenjainade… the ancient power of mediterranean gastronomy had gotten a hold of me.
