Before we wall the tree, do we know he’s not just making up the tree fall to cover up something ridiculously embarrassing?

His won millions are now capped at 250k. 250k can get eaten up with just one bad hospital stay - I had two surgical procedures last year after I hit my health insurance deductible, and both stays and procedures ran something like 170k-ish.

Good thing it’s only the evil Chinese and other foreign companies that are doing this, and that no western brand would ever do this. It is also relieving to know that they are only monitoring what I display on the screen and that none of them contain microphones that would also be recording everything you say or do within proximity, because that would be terrible.
if you can find them get “not smart” or “minimally smart” commercial monitors. they are more durable but lacking of “features”.
the higher end have redundant fans for cooling to preserve the leds. also you can swap the mainboard!
warning i don’t know if anything has changed recently. there used to be a kind of deal with b2b to give the commercial operator more control.
you really just want a computer or commercial monitor as a tv and customize yourself
