Almost everyone i know is working this week and work itself is treating this as an inconvenience to productivity which is such an odd shift as businesses used to just close or soft close this time of year. I dont even care about Christmas itself but i liked it being a slow period but its not anymore. Anyone else noticing this shift? I suppose this has always been the case for retail workers there’s no such thing as a holiday for them. The only difference is white collar slimeballs see working more as badge of honour like the little asswipes they are

My wife says that despite having 2 weeks off for the holidays she’s struggling to feel the joy and excitement with the looming economic collapse and global war. We’re in a really sad and depressing era of western culture.

Pretty much same although i only got 1 week off and all thats in my head is a high likelihood of financial ruin or the fact that im gonna get hounded by the office cops for my incomplete q4 deliveries in the slop grinding mill where everyone acts like its totally normal to just be non stop grinding ourselves to death over fake deadlines. Lying in bed just utterly spent it really just all feels a bit hopeless especially when i have colleagues sitting around gloating about how many hours they pull to show off to the office police. Dreading going back. Dreading everything at the moment tbh

Chuds somehow blame this all on us, a minority of a political movement that was demonstrably defeated in the Cold War. The specter haunts liberalism with every passing day socialism-spectre
