(At least tomorrow I’m seeing Mum’s side, Dad’s was yesterday and part of today, politics came up but I didn’t get called a pinko or anything worse and no one started up at me about '56, thank the heavens.)     I do love that song… I guess because I think it’s funny when I get called Cold War insults. I know he’s really steamed when he goes past “pinko” and calls me a red, or starts flinging nonexistent tendency labels (I figure he’s not screwing around anymore and I’d better deescalate instead of playing along, when the word “Stalinist” gets used).
