It’s my birthday on Monday, I’ll be 42. I’ve got no-one to celebrate with, and as my stroke-induced mobility issues have flared up again, I can barely walk. I can’t go out and have no money. I would really like to order a TV series on amazon that I’ve been wanting to watch, or get a few books I’ve been wanting (can’t get to library due to mobility problems), and I really hope to get an electric blanket as I’m freezing and don’t dare to turn the heating on as my landlady will be furious if she comes home to a huge bill. Last year I was so cold I got chilblains, hoping to avoid that this year.
