The reason given is perfect! 😂
(For the record all I did was disagree with their bullshit. Meanwhile they were incredibly insulting and childish as fuck towards me)
I’ll add:
They’ll never understand that while most everyone outside of their echo chamber thinks their politics may be ignorant and entirely misguided, people don’t hate them for it. No, they are hated for their hypocrisy, their arrogance and their condescending narrative that while sharing the exact same sewage system- somehow their shit doesn’t stink.
They are every bit as bad as MAGA, and in some cases… so much worse.

Wow this community really went to shit. You definitely broke rule 3.
Is that so? So read through the thread and tell me when I overstepped where anyone I was talking to didn’t.
Uh… first I’d need a link to the thread?
So, how do you know they broke any rules, without having read anything first…?
-Them. If this is what they think, expressing their political views even somewhat honestly in the comm would run afoul of rule 3, which says
Now you can feel however you want about it, but the rule is clear, and the mods over there aren’t especially trigger happy about removing liberals, so realistically OP would’ve had to do something pretty blatant to catch a ban.
One of the mod is especially trigger-happy. They will blatantly blame Ukraine for the war, sport a russian flag in their bio and ban people for “being racist to russians”.
It’s 100% meanwhileongrad material.
I think I know which mod you’re talking about, but while they do have more tankie sympathies than I’d like I haven’t seen them do any of these things save for the Russian flag, which is next to the British and German flags to indicate the languages they speak.
I understand what the flags mean. I’m saying it displays a bias.
They’re very keen on “freezing the conflict” (beneficial only to russia), and any criticism towards russia is “russophobia”.
Clearly a great moderator for “lefty memes” lol.
Yeah… no. Even if that made sense, which it doesn’t, you know full well that that’s not what the average bystander will think when they read “sporting a Russian flag in their bio.”
Assuming that’s true, sure? That’s a shit take, but not exactly tankie material. People are allowed to have shit opinions. Besides, the mod that banned the OP is Flatworm, not Alsaas, so that’s a moot point.
Literally never seen that happen.
So you don’t know shit. Thanks for playing, now sit down.
What was the comment?
It seems to be in a thread about ‘leftists’ hating on Zohran Mamdani, one of the furthest left politicians in the USA.
I have no idea, but the fact that OP hasn’t posted the comment here is more than enough evidence, not to mention how they absolutely sound like the kind of unapologetic liberal who would say unapologetically liberal shit and get banned for it.
That’s… extremely dubious, especially considering that deleted comments are deleted for the user, not just hidden from others.
Still, they likely know the contents even if they can’t repeat it verbatim. Either way I doubt the mods on c/leftymemes decided to single them out from all the people defending Mamdani in the comments.
There are numerous comments in the thread by the user which were all deleted (as the mods likely used the ‘delete all comments’ option which results in the deleted comments not showing in the modlog). Which one should they be summarizing?
… the mod active in that thread is an open apologist for Russian imperialism, and one of the other mods site-banned a user (me) for downvoting things I disagreed with from one of their pet posters.
What makes you think they’re above petty or absurd bans?
Did you see the comment in question? What did it say?
