No no, surely there are just inherently bad people monsters out there and the only thing you can do is stamp them out without considering their circumstances or how you can help them. Also the people from six decades ago disagree about what the monsters look like but that’s probably unimportant.

Not really. Neurodivergence means autism and ADHD. There are a lot of people with these two conditions, and we tend to gather online on platforms like this, because we’re too weird for the real world. Hence why everyone around you seems neurodivergent and the word lost meaning to you: because we are all around you on the platforms you visit.

Well yeah what a social regime of normativity frames as a small fringe blows wide open to an enveloping majority once you begin cataloguing the actual “divergences”. We’re just liberating the human condition.

This reminded me of when I recruited the floating head from Eyes to protect me from weird noises in the house while I was sleeping

The Groke of Moomin fame is an example of a “baddie” that just needs a hug (or friends, to be precise). I love that it’s part of childhood lore around here.

    Interpretation
A misunderstood creature condemned to be alone by her emanating coldness, she is a live representation of loneliness, as well as a psychological depiction of very lonely people who have a hard time accepting and expressing love in the right way, making them seem cold and scary to others, which, in turn, only leads to more loneliness.

I love the subversion of this trope. “What if I hug this thing. It eats you” I don’t know why because I definitely want to hung the thing.
