Wow, impressive. Israel continues to break new ground on how to be cartoonishly evil. Never ever tell me shit like this in fiction is “unrealistic.”

It’s crazy how fiction promises us that if villains were to ever say what they truly want to do and it was broadcast to the world that people would rise up and do something about it, while Israeli politicians openly spout literal genocidal rhetoric and you still have half the population defending it.

I’d prefer to see THAT movie, the movie where the villain reveals his intentions openly, it’s treated for a brief second or two as if he’s damned himself, and then half the population defends what he’s doing; that and have reporters in the movie choosing to switch the cameras off for war crimes, or choosing not to air videos of war crimes because it hurts the story they’re trying to tell, and chastising suffering victims.

Nothing makes it more obvious that movies are just for escapism than literally what’s been happening for the last two years; would Lois Lane had she been a real person asked Gazans who lost family members if they condemned Hamas? Would she have chosen not to record literal war crimes and taken AIPAC/zionist blood money? Real life reporters for the most part have been either spineless or literal ghouls.

Have you watched sorry to bother you? This is definitely a theme in the movie. It is also directed and written by a communist, so…
