    the reality is the world’s reliance on US financial and tech companies makes things like sanctions and embargoes effectively impossible.

    Yeah, and I find it funny that there were plenty of naive and emotional calls to sanction US demanding world leaders to stand up to Trump. Good luck to them, it’s easier for them to make demands since they don’t make the decisions.

      We don’t need to sanction US, we just need to close the loopholes that allow the US tech to not pay taxes in EU. As simple as that.
