      Pretty sure that is derived from cockney rhyming slang for calling someone the c-word (berkely hunt). But luckily for you I don’t think that’s common knowledge haha

    Personally I’m torn between shit for its general versatility and applicability as a substitute for most other words, and bastard which is great to say as a sharp northern bass-ted or a longer southern baaar-sturd
