    EU diplomats will have to get used to it if they buckle here. Within a few months he will threaten with tariffs again because of something else. And so on and so forth. The blackmailing will never end if they prove it works.

    Can’t wait to see that new sternly worded letter. Just say to hell with the stupid trade deal earlier in 2025. US-Tariffs damage the Americans long term significantly more than the EU. Also, we have the mercosur FTA now. I hope this time the EU rightfully grows some bollocks. Appeasement fails every time, they WILL be back for more.
