    I don’t mind submitting a photo id or whatever so long as I don’t have to be public about it. Like my public profile could still be a mushroom and a word jumble. Frankly I think some kind of Id is the way to go. We’ve made it abundantly clear that humanity cannot be trusted with anonymous mass information flow. I trust the checks and balances in EU way more than the others.

    I think though it would be good to have some government body online for the sole purpose of providing online services a verification that I’m over 18 and a real person. They don’t really need to know anything else about me. I already log into various government services that contain my personal details. Just fork it out to answer those two yes/no questions for sites that need to know.
