This is ABSOLUTELY correct but only half the equation. Assholes come from everywhere, but white male assholes from the colonial era engineered a system that pegs your ability to ACT on that horridness to your proximity to their racial and gender group. And the assholes in successive generations of said white men have made it their lives’ work to maintain those lines and stay powerful.

Everyone has the capacity to be horrible, it’s just that this specific group set up extensive infrastructure for it.

Ehhhhhh you’d be surprised to learn that white supremacy hasn’t been the only ‘supremacy’ to hit main stream throughout history…

No, I would not. You can go to India and see them profile people based on their surname and neighborhood of birth, right now. Brahmans bitch about reverse casteism the same way Republicans bitch about reverse racism. In China, Han supremacy has them doing a genocide, right now. You could turn back the clock and look at old timey racism, which is a fundamentally different beast from modern racism as it cared about cultural mores and birthplace, skin color being tertiary. As the Romans famously put it, “you’re either a Roman or you’re a barbarian.”

All of this misses the point I had made. White supremacy is an international political and cultural system that enables and encourages assholes. That’s not always how it’s been, it’s not the only system in the world, but right here right now, it sets them and anyone who abides the system that empowers them apart for scrutiny.
