Having seen the episode, I gotta say I don’t think the Senator-lady was working for the enclave. She’s being used as a mainframe by Hank because she was a genuine good person. He’s “instilling ideas” into the people he’s brainwashing, and that is run through the mainframe, somehow. I think it’s her ideas and that’s why her head is there.
Ah… that makes a bit more sense. My first reaction was torture/punishment for a good person (because cruelty is the lifeblood of the Fallout universe), to have a “shocking” revelation to the most ethically pure but naive character in the show, and to make it very clear that Lucy’s choice might be the right one but her beliefs are going to be challenged again.
Legitimately the only show I have ever lost sleep over. It’s outstanding. I cannot WAIT for the season finale on Tuesday.
