It disgusts and angers me that people in Palestine are fearing for their lives and aren’t free to move throughout their country or even feel safe in their own homes. Yet ultra privileged pieces of shit who probably never had to live with anywhere near such fear in their lives not only justify their suffering. They argue against those fighting to end it. And they argue for respectability politics when they are being inherently disrespectful to the people suffering right now.

Your best interpretation is missing the mark, as I explained myself. “Fuck your feelings” is targeted at any of the assholes these days who claim activists for Palestine are “modern day antisemites” for advocating against Palestine’s occupation by Israel, while subsequently they themselves do not have to live in poverty, fear of being blown up, or even lacking the freedom to move freely. They are privilaged people and are advocating against the basic rights of people who don’t even know if they will possibly die violently tomorrow.

(For the other screenshot the reason for the removal of the comment is literally “baseless accusation of Zionism”. And the last one I don’t really understand the context of but would side more likely with the person that got the comment removed, since I also dislike Büttner.)

Is it really necessary to defed an instance because you’re not allowed to call them Nazis and pieces of shit on their own space without getting banned? I’m not arguing in bad faith, I’m seriously getting the impression that some users go to feddit only to use the most abrasive language they can think of, get banned and then use it as a “gotcha, I knew it!”.
Yes a large majority of Feddit users are Zionist trolls or apologists, and Feddit explicitly allows them to be there. This is not the same thing as saying all feddit users are trolls.
Because when an instance allows and even accepts and elevates Zionist garbage and goes against anti-Zionism and antifascism the instance itself is deciding to endorse these views, and those who feel that is problematic should ban the instance from their own spaces. In addition the handling of Feddit’s own administration to the current saga has been atrocious, beyond unprofessional. And an instance managed that poorly is a prime canidate for defederation.

Well aside from the fact that I wish to have nothing to do with Feddit or the trolls who prop it up (referring to the lovely harassment individual(s?) have been sending my way over the past few days) I call people Zionists on the merit of their behavior, not their nationality. A German instance is the focus right now because it was their admin who came here to spout Zionist apologia, and it was their users who continued in the thread. And it is one of their users having this argument with me right now. So no, it’s not based on nationality, it’s based on being or not being a Zionist. This seems like a piss poor attempt at bad-jacketing and it is shameful.
