    When you think about it, Tucker Carlson ended up being bigger than Jon Stewart in the long-run. He’s mentioned all the time as a relevant figure in politics while Jon comes across as a relic of a bygone era.

    • Stewart mocked Tucker for the tranparentness of his “both sides in rational debate” schtick who responded by dropping the mask and in turn becoming more relevant than Stewart stuck still clinging to his “I’m just a comedian” mask.

      Carlson is a fascist who wants to gain and use political power

      Stewart is a comedian who wants to criticise and embarass and debate those holding power bc he thinks it will make them change their minds (or more cynically, bc it gets him views)

      Its not shocking to me that one faded into irrelevance and the other is walking around the halls of power
