As for me I’ve mainly been playing Persona 5 Royal. Been really loving it! It’s so damn long though lol. Really excited for res 9 next week as well!!!
Damn you, I am a Team Ninja fan and had already heard good things about the combat, but had put off RoR because of the mixed reception it got. Now you’re making me rethink myself. In fact, I just installed the game (though curtesy it Fitgirl for now until I know how I feel about it). It’s been a while since I played some open world slop, I might be in the mood for that…

Oh RoR is in no way open world slop. Ubishit execs wish they could make this good of a game (side tangent: I fully believe Ubisoft has the talent to pull this off easily, but the C suite is allergic to good games).
This game has unexpectedly become my “boot up and chill” game for now, and it’s kinda limiting how fast I churn thru my backlog. But I enjoy the fact that it’s a lot lower stakes than Nioh or Dark Souls; with those type of games I have huge startup inertia due to the difficulty.
I’ve also bought wolong and wuchang together with RoR and I am not getting around to playing them hehe.
Oh and if it’s not too late here’s a hint: don’t spend so much time in the character creator for the blade twin you don’t choose as your main one *wink wink
