The premise, right or wrong, is that you can work the entire week and get paid insane rates. Do that for a couple of years and you can retire early. In theory, that sounds awesome and achievable. In practice, I have never actually seen the insane rates materialize so you end up working 24/7 for a pittance and then get fucked. I would be supportive of regulations that allowed that extreme end of work at double or triple pay so that people that want to do this can do it with protections. The dude isn’t saying that, though. If he actually had to pay reasonable rates for people working 24/7 he’d lose his mind.

I knew a guy in Canada who worked the 6-7 days a week and 12 hour days. He made bank with all the overtime. Did it for a few years to save up for a house.

He was also in a union and had rights. Once he had his house and a kid on the way he slowed right down. He was set and 30.

All these fucking cultists need to all be under one roof. Just make a spot for them. Let them all work each other to death and we’ll build an equitable world without them. But as long as all the reigns are controlled by psychopaths like this nothing will change and even Europe’s protection will be erroded by capitalism.

In the US, most people are enthusiastic.

What planet is this person on? I’ve spent my whole adult life in the American corporate world and “enthusiastic” is not the word I would use to describe the general attitude.

Also the posts overlooks the fact that OpenAI has an immense fluctuation which contradicts the whole argument of people wanting to work their ass off…

This is one of the funniest LinkedIn Lunatics post, but as I’m looking up the “hype” around OpenClaw, I feel overwhelmed. Did mankind really make a gigantic leap forward towards the dead internet in such a short time?

Sort of yes, but also no. High tier LLM’s are all offered well below cost. So if the costs were to go up, a lot of current users would not be able to afford to run AI agents anymore.
