    Those batteries are a bit small at a time where other brands offer 6000 mAh batteries. I’m especially surprised the Ultra doesn’t have that. And vanilla S26 should have had 5000 mAh, almost all the competition has had that for years.

      There are mAH battery restrictions for smartphones in US and this is the biggest reason we don’t see larger battery capacities outside China

        But, we do see bigger battery phones outside china. Oneplus 15 has 7400mAh battery for example. Others like Iqoo, oppo, vivo, poco also provide large battery phones worldwide.

          I’d rather have more optimised software than a bigger battery, else the bigger battery gives room for less than optimal software

            Who says you are getting worse battery life? You get nearly twice as much battery life with oneplus 15 compared to S25 Ultra. Also a full charge takes 40 mins to vs 1hr 28mins on the S25 Ultra.
