In light of the recent Discord scandal(s), I’m curious if any TTRPG communities currently using Discord are planning to leave it in favor of Matrix, as it seems to be one of the most popular choices for a Discord replacement. Would be great to see some vibrant roleplaying communities on Matrix!
From my observations (in different niche than RPG games) RootApp is the often-chosen replacement. It’s another company, so you know, known devil etc
Fluxer, Matrix, TeamSpeek (I think), Nerimity (my recommendation), Stoat (not recommended), and some others are decent.
