More nukes are never good and the fact that rearming is on the table for most nations shows how awful the general state of international relations is. Obviously the biggest culprit for the state of affairs is the United State.

We have seen with the Ukraine conflict that both sides having nukes closes off higher escalation options (which is good because the conflict is more contained and the U.S. is afraid to do quite as much direct, open terrorism not under Ukraine’s own flag). We have seen the DPRK stay safe and snug while RoK repeatedly tears their pedophile dictators apart in the streets for sport. Why shouldn’t we all have nukes? Dialectical materialism is unconcerned with morality, I don’t like nukes either, they freak me out, but if having some is necessary for people to not be terrorized then my feelings don’t matter.
Under the current circumstances encouraging people to get nukes should be a priority for their survival, since the US is not going to let them develop a civilian nuclear program anyways! Whether or not this is “bad” morally to you or it makes you scared is frankly irrelevant to me so I’m sorry if I didn’t respond on exactly the same terms.
