It’s tactical: they don’t care about imperialism, so they position it as a distraction, therefore caring about it is undignified and ignoring it is actually fighting trump. Why I don’t like people here plausibly cosigning it with “Epstein coalition” or stuff.

As for the Epstein thing, I’m going insane, because it’s as you put it, those who argue it’s a distraction do it in a manner that tries to immediately devalue any support to Iran, even if they’re also not picking America in the fight, except they only trust western sources so they’re basically pro-west with even more cognitive dissonance in the baggage
