We had a server in the Matrix chat but it had no whitelist nor backups, so a group found the IP and griefed it. The group seems to claim to act against servers that permit cracked clients, since they seem to suck up to their beloved billionaire overlords. So not a great thing to wake up to this morning.

Minecraft is basically unusable without a whitelist, sadly. Tons of people spend a lot of energy discovering and then griefing servers. It’s baffling behavior.
