Here is a better picture of the F-15 being hit: https://www.reddit.com/r/CombatFootage/comments/1rikezx/second_angle_of_usaf_f15_shot_down_over_kuwait/
Reminds me of this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gotB5q-uqLk
An F-15 was destroyed by friendly fire over the skies of Kuwait.

The American pilots ejected safely.

Literally came here to post exactly this but with
and
instead

From the megathread
They got them? Hell yeah
This is in Kuwait, a US ally. They immediately got him back to the US military.
Safely here means “Many many months of spinal therapy”
Safely might still be incorrect? As far as I’ve heard there’s basically no safe way to eject yourself from a plane unless it’s literally by jumping out the door, because those ejector seats hit your ass so hard it usually causes back problems.
So they might have lifelong back pain if that makes you guys feel better?
Thank you I feel better.
yeah most of them can’t fly again after ejecting
Im now imagining a Iranian F14 Crew scoring their first kill and playing beach volleyball now to celebrate
I am here for the Top Gun theme setar remix.
The American pilots ejected safely

a second f15 now
Edit: a third

The American pilots ejected safely.
Come oooonnnnnn imperialists need to die comically already.
Reddit post is removed/locked. r/CombatFootage up to the usual?
…at least in the gravitational senseSo you’re saying there was good news and bad news.
Just a couple more months and the US will take out all the jets it deployed to the region.
