Oh, I hate the word I find it demeaning to my profession of which I studied for 7 years to get my masters and have spent a decade of my life working in. We call it Early Childhood Education but most people only know it as “childcare”.
Sorry I could rant about this for hours.
Just say Early Childhood Education. It’s a better reflection of your skills and training and I think most people will know what you’re talking about.
