I said wow crazy coincidence, Then i asked if all US presidents were born during an eclipse.
She said that’s a whataboutism.
I was going to say astrology is confirmation bias, since she only brings up the coincidences and never the non coincidences. But luckily my autism isnt so severe that i said that.
I find tarot more forgivable because for the people I know who use it, it’s mostly just a way of randomizing symbols and then using whatever comes up as a jumping off point to reflect on their life. Astrology bothers me more because even the casual adherents seem to be boxing people into crude personality types and predetermining their relationships with other people based on star signs.
