Imperial chauvinists never shut the fuck up about what’s “acceptable” and “unnaceptable” when it comes to other people running their societies, like a hectoring parent. “This is not acceptable!”

Domestic polices are cool, foreign policy is garbage, classic succdem.

She is 26 and my foreign policy was not much better at that age. She has time to develop, but being elected to the United States Congress will probably harm that development more than it will help. I saw that her FP positions came from a dogshit advisor that she isn’t working with anymore sonkaybe there’s hope in some kind of shift? Not gonna bank on it, though.

If I lived in the district, good domestic policy, and no AIPAC money is good enough for me to offer some support (like if I were discussing with friends or acquilaintances in the district), while also giving me the opportunity to immediately denounce her foreign policy and illustrate there is no actual winning in the US cause that requites exploiting another working class instead. 2-4 years later that same audience will be primed for the “we really need to shift our focus from electoralism” talk, but most regular people aren’t there today.

        She has time to develop

She has a degree in international relations from George Washington university in DC, she’s already fully developed as an Anarcho-bidenist. biden-leftist

comrade john_brown already pointed out how she handpicked Illinois, they don’t even do the AOCIA bartender type stories anymore they’ll just put their plants in and know that nobody will call them out on it besides the disenfranchised.

by moving to a completely different state to handpick a good district for herself, she’s basically screaming out loud she wants to become a system democrat doing system democrat things

I cannot imagine anyone living in her district believing she gives a shit about their needs, she just moved there!

My commitment to overcoming authoritarianism doesn’t stop at American borders. The rise of right-wing leaders with authoritarian tendencies is not simply an American phenomenon. Global peace means not bowing down to authoritarian leaders like Vladimir Putin or Viktor Orbán, as Donald Trump and his cronies have done. Instead, we must support democratic movements worldwide while still avoiding unnecessary military intervention which historically worsens outcomes on the ground and hurts American interests.

It’s also of incredible importance that members of Congress speak out against human rights abuses across the world that too often are overlooked. In Congress, I will always uplift the voices of activists fighting for peace and democracy worldwide. I will also use my platform and powers as a member of Congress to call for the United States to rejoin the Paris Climate Accords, recognize the International Criminal Court, and rejoin the World Health Organization.

Putin’s war in Ukraine presents one of the most brazen instances of an illegal and immoral invasion of one country by another since World War II. The United States must exert significant diplomatic pressure on Russia and its allies to end the war and recognize full Ukrainian sovereignty over its rightful territory, including Crimea which Russia illegally annexed in 2014. Hopefully this will be accomplished before I enter Congress but if the war persists, I will support additional humanitarian and military assistance to Ukraine.

As with regard to Taiwan, the United States must continue to support Taiwan in the face of increasing Chinese aggression and attempts to undermine Taiwan’s internationally recognized status as a state of its own.

So what do you call this? It isn’t anti-war-ism, it’s mostly dogs of the US empire with pro-Palestinian characteristics.

I wouldn’t really care so much about this but the fact that she cites Yugoslavia as an example of a model foreign intervention is so funny like what burger eating american who wants to pay less for medical bills can even remember what a yugoslavia was. Then you read she was a international relations major in DC and it all clicks.

Lab grown monster and burgerlanders still fall for it, at least bernie had credentials and AOC her “working class nyc bartender” origin story.

I think pointing this out for people is valuable radicalization though. It cracks the shell of liberal naivety and shows how much of what the establishment considers as acceptable political change is manipulated behind the scenes.

Those people aren’t fit to lick jesse jackson boots, so seems to me there is a degradation in that crack the shell->find radical pipeline since the 70s. I don’t understand why people aren’t running on radical shit lib shit: slash pentagon budget, remove military bases, bomb tel aviv, declassify cia docs. They are all popular, in a fashion, outside of blob and i never hear them from anyone. It’s not even means of production or proletariat, just idiosyncratic american conspiracy mix, throw in some rants about high beams and google, and it might be enough to at least get to 2nd place
