Sooo… I just found out this bundle ends in less than 3 days.

I’ll get straight to the point… I still can’t wrap my head around which edition is what. I do have this very comprehensive doc bookmarked, but I still don’t know what’s “best for me”…

Problem with this doc is, it’s too comprehensive. XD

Anyway, I have played SR before, but I don’t even know which version. And I do have a ton of 5E stuff from some previuos bundle (which I haven’t read). It seems 4E editing was better, and that alone might be worth even if at the lowest tier.

Thoughts? Yay? Nay?

4th is easier to understand, the logic behind roll are streamlined and I find it easier on the GM (TL; DR 4th is the one with huge dice pool)

5th matrix is somewhat what the internet is looking right now, the goal was clearly to bring back the hacker and putting him at equal rank with a Technomancer. However I find that it is harder on the GM (TL; DR 5th is the one with [Limit])

On a narrative stand point the quality of stories and fluff is downgrading since the SR4 but that’s my opinion

Personally I find that there’s better game to play Shadowrun … but SR4 have great plot points
