Reuters news agency reported that Cuba has received only two small vessels carrying oil imports this year, citing SEG ship-tracking data it reviewed.
Earlier this month, a blackout hit two-thirds of the country, mainly in the centre and west, for over a day after a breakdown at the Antonio Guiteras power plant, the island’s largest.
If there is one thing Trump is good at it’s keeping Carribean islands in perpetual electrical blackouts.
They should be rapidly implementing solar and batteries.
They have been, but Cuba is not a wealthy country and replacing the majority of a national power grid in a month (never mind everything else that runs on oil) is no trivial task
Well they should start with critical things like food production and medical facilities.
