I had only vaguely heard about the initial allegation and subsequent disbanding, but this article goes into detail about his pattern of abuse, with corroboration from many of his victims. What a fucking scumbag.

    this is a good reminder that these creeps exist in the most progressive of spaces, I’ve watched a number of groups poorly address incidents like this and almost completely fall apart.

      This even happened in a commie org I used to work with. It’s really fucking sad, harrowing, and upsetting that the reality is plenty of people can act like this.

      When judging an artist, I have a staunch “one strike, then fuck you” policy. I’ve never been much for AF, but I certainly know enough about them from growing up in punk - I never would have put money on THEM crossing that line for me.

        I share that one strike rule, Anti-Flag was super important to me but as soon as I heard about this I tossed all my shirts and scratched out all my patches, I’m just glad I didn’t go through with getting the gunstar tattoo I had been thinking of getting.
