This beautiful bird has been hanging out at our local lake for the last several weeks. I’ve been trying to get some pictures of him and he finally got close enough for my lenses.
This reminds me of a majestic photo of a heron my wife took about a decade ago at Steven’s Creek, where she captured the exact moment it shat into the water.
Hah, that’s awesome! There are competitions for blooper photos like that if they’re good enough!
I don’t think it was that good of a photo, but I just like thinking about it from time to time.

And I didn’t realize you could submit multiple photos at once.
There is a button for submitting a single image as the main post image, then there is a second button under the post’s text entry box that allows adding additional images to the body of the post. It was a little slow but worked well!
