Documents show that one of Google’s new data centers would be powered by a natural gas plant that emits millions of tons of emissions each year—an increasingly common trend in the industry.
This is sized at ~10% of the emissions of California’s electric generation per year, so enough to be quite meaningful.

It’s Texas.
I want to see what these natural gas generators look like. I have seen a spike of some type of gas equipment going down the highway but they don’t necessarily look like photos I see in internet searches.
I only associate these things with gas from having spent time in oil and gas fields, and I don’t see them on the road this often (until now).
