Can someon explain how streamio and torrentio work?

I would go to 1337x.to and copy the download link and paste it into torrentio? To then stream off streamio?

As opposed to downloading from 1337x.to via qbittorrent?

    No, the torrentio install page sets up an add-on for stremio that skips past pasting anything. You select piracy sites, preferred video qualities, languages, etc. Once it’s installed,you can search for any piece of media on stremio and it will show different torrents and their respective seeds and sites.

        So Stremio works like a database of sources of a video, so you’ll see an entry for a movie/series/etc and it will show if Netflix, Hulu, Peacock, etc has it available. When you get certain plugins installed for Stremio, it will show you listings not just from non-torrent sources it will show listings from torrent sites as well.

        Then you can scroll down the list and click the entry that you want to try to view.
