I know there are some ways to imeoove it by allowing the app to always run in the background, but still it’s very annoying and it happens constantly to me and many others. What is the root problem? Why don’t other messaging apps have this problem?
You can turn off read receipts in settings > privacy. So I think if the person you sent the message to has turned this off you won’t get the two ticks in a circle. Could it be that?
Nope, not that, as it does change eventually when reminded to just open signal for example.
