??? The J50 and J36, both different sixth generation fighters being built in China, had their maiden flights in 2024. They exist. They’ve had half a dozen semi-public prototype flights. They’ll be put into mass production before the end of the decade. The F47, meanwhile, is only on paper. No prototype exists. No flight (scheduled for 2028). Nothing. How could the Chinese “copy” something that doesn’t exist?
Western Leftists can’t stop critiquing actually existing socialism. Western rightists can’t stop critiquing actually existing 6th generation fighters.
Neither group has ever produced a working version themselves.
Presumably the F-47 is just going to be a finalized version of the x-47A or B they’ve been flying prototypes around for a couple decades.
Non-zero chance Trump asked for this when he heard an x-47 existed.
It’s entirely possible that real in production jets that are flying around today are worse than fictional jets that exist on paper, but if I had to choose one to defend a nation with I know which I’d pick
I would love to defend the United States with a fictional plane. I could even make cool shooty sounds.
The Press: “How is it a copy?”
Some random government idiot: “It flies!”
Th Press :“Thank you, I have heard enough! The perfidious yellow man has once more stabbed the back of the American Ubermensch!”
Have they even built one f-47 yet? The way American military procurement goes China will have operational squadrons of j-50s before the f-47 is built in any meaningful numbers
It might be a bad copycat version, we’ll know for sure once the burgers actually make one of theirs.
That’s the neat part, if the US is always dragging their feet on actually making their new Wunderwaffen, then they can claim the Chinese plane is an inferior copy regardless of the actual specs of the plane, because it is being compared to a hypothetical plane that doesn’t actually exist
Propaganda so bad it violates locality
F-47
everything is just a marketing opportunity to this guy, huh
f-35 to f-47 is the same interval as from f-22 to f-35 if you’re american at math
even if they actually ever make an f-47, it’ll be another decade after that before it can fly in the rain or eject without decapitating the pilot
