That’s beautiful metric hacking right there. 75% of the all the websites in existence and 0.75% of the web’s traffic

For better or worse, MediaWiki is a notworthy example of a contemporary application based on LAMP.

L - everything is Linux now

A - people still use Apache, but nginx is more popular

M - people still use mysql, but postgres is more popular

P - people still use PHP, Perl, and Python, but javascript is more popular, and Perl especially has fallen off a lot

If you want a modern boring stack, Linux / Nginx / Postgres / javascript (node.js / express.js) is quite alright. The js ecosystem is notoriously fucked, but it only actually gets that way when you add client-side rendering frameworks and cross-compilers to it. Also use an oldschool templating engine (like pug or handlebars) instead of garbage like React.

LNPJ doesn’t really roll off the tongue the same though

You can also choose ddg as your default engine for Firefox and disable all the AI stuff. It’s a legitimately good experience.

Lamp is an incredible band, Gemini is just doing the good deed of spreading awareness.

    Just listen to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yDOx_Duc498

Or for the light prog/psychedelia-minded among you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-z7vjzjHJ0o

If you like bossa nova and jazz, their first album is all good as well.
