pro tip from a milk faced cracker baby who can’t handle heat but will pretend he can: you should get habanero powder and just start adding it to everything that you’d put chili powder in, it’s got a real fruity taste to it that’s pretty good and you’d probably get more oomph out of from a better habanero powder instead of whatever traces of habanero they put in the ramen seasoning
I miss my fucking habanero powder btw. sous chef won’t order me brussel sprouts OR habaneros and when I wanted to turn all the jalapenos into powder before we went on break she was all NO you need to MAKE A SALSA VERDE and guess what? we used like half of that salsa before we threw it out! I’d still have delicious, earthy, cayenne-hot jalapeno powder to throw in with my cumin/cardamom/MENA/Indian (inspired, i’m hhhwhite and doing my best) food, but NO, apparently I’m “in a powder phase” but guess what? it’s been months and I need those powders more than ever, god damn it
