I can foresee no repercussion with the autonomous driving companies going “what do I care for traffic laws lmao”. Not to go all Niemöller but picking this fight first seems strategic. Soon enough they won’t respect pedestrian crossings because their customers want to get places faster and after that I’m guessing they’ll argue they can cut you off in your car
Human and robotic drivers banding together to fight for their right to run over cyclists.
So they’re just going on record and saying that their vehicles will not respect traffic laws (and nothing will probably be done against them for it)

every cyclist should be issued a TP-82 and given free reign to open fire on anything blocking the bike lane

Yeah so no issue if they go spray painted too I guess.
I wonder what one of those sensors hanging off the side of the car costs to replace
Yeah they look really grabable when avoiding a car parked on cycling lane
