They publicly acknowledge that this is about speeding up (and scaling up) executions because of the difficulty in obtaining “humane” lethal injection methods that aren’t found to in fact be tortuous, but it’s no coincidence that they are also pushing to classify any political stance but theirs as terroristic and anti-American. They have a lot more bullets than pentobarbital.
