    Why would people want to be so ridiculous. This just harms everything and everyone

      This is like saying not recycling is dangerous for the environment. We can recycle until our hands fall off, and the corporations doing the real harm will still destroy the world.

      We should all try to be responsible, but let’s not be unrealistic.

        I think so too, maybe. The issue is that oil in the water system / water table is just more directly damaging than simple plastic etc.

      You’re also going to pay for it in your rent, as they will increase it even more to cover any extra costs

        We already pay for every mistake our landlords make. This means nothing. My last landlord had kids about to go to college, so he raised my rent 10% for three years in a row.

          But if they don’t get enough profit, they will raise the rent 12% instead of 10 etc. They’re not going to just take the extra costs. It all will go to the rent
