    It’s more like love-hate for me. They’re terribly cute and they do play an important ecological role.

    But they are destructive little shits. Mercilessly and needlessly destroying homes, gardens, and at times even vehicles. Their reigns of terror are expensive and tough to mitigate. And with so few remaining natural predators, their populations quickly grow to near plague levels quite rapidly. May your tomato plants be damned.

      Stop chasing away the coyotes, corvids, raptors, snakes, or pretty much any mid-tier predator, then. Coexist > consume.

        You phrase that like you are accusing me of something specific and making wild assumptions, but it’s clear you know nothing about me, so it’s really bizarre that you’d say such a thing to me. Like why phrase it that way? I mean, I am totally on board with protecting predators and I get the message, but why be so aggressive with your messaging to me? It makes no sense and it’s kind of rude.
