I completely agree that an AGM of the OMA is NOT the place to make political statements. It is a medical conference, not a political convention. There is a very big difference between internal politics and outside politics. Of course an AGM is filled with the politics of the organization. However a political statement that has nothing to do with medicine has no place at an OMA AGM.
