Well, when he won he didn’t actually win a majority so he had to hold back somewhat. Since then, he’s managed to entice enough mostly conservative MPs to his side of the aisle somehow (certainly not bribery, that would be illegal, surely they just love his reportedly shouty personality) to give him the majority. And he’s taken off the mask since then.
He always seemed like the “Not Poilievre” candidate. Not someone you actually want, but the one you’d have if you had to pick between two.

So the plan is to dig up our natural resources, set fire to them, and use expensive machines called “data centres” to dispose of the waste heat? I guess all that activity will juice up the economy numbers but it it’s not easy to understand how that leaves us better off.
“Elbows up,” amirite? This is why you don’t let Neolibs hijack self-defense rhetoric, their interests are fundamentally oriented around global capitalism and in Canada, that means US economic interests.
